Being a member of the LGBTQ+ community and suffering from mental illnesses, finding healthcare providers of any type that don't have at least a little prejudice can be difficult. I've had incredibly hurtful things said towards me from health providers, and so I am always reluctant with doctors. Dr. Wong began seeing me a little over a year ago, and always has a calm, professional, and consistent demeanor. He welcomes questions, takes the time to explain things, and makes otherwise uncomfortable topics way less awkward by being professional and nonjudgemental, and welcoming conversation and questions.
