Substitute your regular side salad with this colorful and nutrient-packed alternative. You'll get antioxidants and healthy fats—two nutrients that are key for optimal health.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups organic salad greens
  • 6 cherry and yellow grape tomatoes, halved
  • 4 toasted walnut halves
  • 1 tbsp golden raisins
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp goat or feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 avocado, peeled and cut into small cubes 

Dressing

  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil

Preparation (Serves 1)

Place salad ingredients into a bowl and toss. Mix dressing ingredients and pour over salad.
