When I first came to Aleishia for therapy I didn’t trust my intuition, I had low self esteem, I was lost in who I was authentically. I was in patterns of abuse with my interpersonal relationships. I had suicidal ideations and felt worthless. By the time I was done with therapy I felt empowered, trusted my intuition, and I changed my life for myself. She validated my thoughts and easily identified thought distortions. Her qualities include validation, compassion, her knowledge is multi-faceted which helped her in providing therapy uniquely to me. She helped me as a guide, not telling me what to do. It was key in me trusting myself and my own intuition and to find value within myself and to self validate, have self compassion, and have my own self empowerment. Therapies that helped me included EMDR, CBT, and DBT, self-compassion
