I was assigned to Dr. Lake as a pain psychologist over 12 years ago at MHNI. He is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, patient and understanding. He listens carefully and takes notes and I always feel better after our appointments! He even called me once on a Friday night to discuss an issue he noticed in my medical chart because he was concerned and I had not met with him as part of that visit. All I can say is he is consistently amazing! He really cares and is very empathetic. He always has good suggestions to make regarding my treatment and my emotional reactions to my health issues.
