I've been seeing Alyse for about 2 years as of fall 2021. I found her through my insurance company at the worst time of my life. I've been in and out of therapy for 15 yrs, and she is the only one who suggested that I could improve. She's worked to create a treatment plan, listen to me and help me grow. I finally feel heard, respected, and understood. She is compassionate, kind, non-judgmental, and very trustworthy. She is a CBT therapist, so she focuses on the evidence and facts of your situation to help you understand and work through your feelings so that you can respond to them and process them in a healthier way. This approach works great for me, but some may find it a bit jarring. If how she's treating you isn't working, then you can tell her and she will adjust to make you feel comfortable and safe. Her office is a safe place, and it feels like one too. She has offered telehealth throughout COVID, so you can have scheduled sessions over the phone. She cares about her patients.
