Our family has been seeing Dr. Amalia Burrell for several years. She always listens to our concerns and is very thorough during the visit. She listens to parents about their concerns as well as talks directly to the kids and explains exactly what she is doing during the exam. She is open to considering concerns from parents and listens thoughtfully without being dismissive or rushed. If you're looking for a fancy office, this is not it but if you are looking for a provider who is compassionate, down to earth and knowledgeable, then this is a great practice to consider. I would much rather support local, independent providers than the big box chains.
