We had moved to Colorado and I needed a physician to follow-up with my Polymyalgia. I contacted CCAO and was scheduled an appointment over the phone, (COVID), with Amanda Mixon. I was very impressed as to how through she was! She obviously had reviewed my health information, (I was required to provide),PRIOR to my visit. She asked additional questions to clarify what I had stated, she reviewed my entire health history; not just areas that were specifically related to my Polymyalgia. This proved to me that she practices with the belief of the "system" philosophy and took all my health issues into consideration. I truly appreciated that. She contacted me immediately after receiving my labs and explained her plan of action. She was approachable and available within a timely manner; especially when I had additional questions that surfaced after my visit. She is extremely caring, pleasant and knowledgeable.
