I will never forget how great everyone was to me at Sunrise Hospital and I will forever be grateful for Dr. Amelia Simmons. Moments before I was about to undergo open abdominal surgery the fear sunk in, I was terrified and felt alone about to go under anthestia when Dr. Simmons noticed tear drops forming she stopped what she was doing, let everyone else setup and she grabbed my hand and very calmly told me everything was going to be ok. She continued to hold and stroke my hand until I was knocked out. I’ve never been more thankful for anyone in my life than her in that moment. Thank you Dr Simmons
