I met Amy Gladstone 8 years ago, I was in the middle of working through a very painful romantic relationship. It was very clear that many childhood issues that I had were continuing to repeat themselves in my adulthood, especially concerning romantic relationships. I was in deep fear, anxiety, emotional pain and hopelessness . Thank God for Amy, seriously, this is how profoundly and deeply she has helped me. Amy’s has a deep capacity for empathy and I knew from the start that I was sitting in the room with a person who was not afraid to express her love and support for me, to help me learn the importance of learning how to reassure myself. I know that I have a real and genuine relationship with Amy where I feel safe, protected, understood, comforted, cared for and loved. In this safety, and with Amy’s amazing skills, I have healed in profound ways. I should know, as I’ve been in therapy for 40 years, and it was not until I met Amy that I’ve started to and continued to make progress.
