May 12, 2019 I was truly blessed when God and his saints brought me into the care of Dr Amy K. Silberbogen. She treated me for many months In the mental health department of the Boston V.A. Jamaica Plain campus. I was trying to deal with both the mental and physical effects of cancer and the treatments I had to endure. I was failing miserably. The relentless attacks of anxiety, extreme anger and debilitating depression was my life 24/7. To sleep at night was impossible. I was trying to deal with it all on my own with heavy drinking and other destructive means that just made every thing worse. What a Good God we have!! I kept pleading with God to help me My prayers were answered. I was brought into the care of Dr, Amy Silberbogen. I only hope that one day I can be as kind, caring and compassionate to others who are suffering as she has been to me !!
