We had to get some answers for my son's seizures. And Ashley was the one doing his anesthesia. My son does not like strangers. I told her this, and that he may cry. She didn't skip a beat. She said that if he does cry, she could handle it but that many times she is able to get them from parents without them crying. She was right. Bastian went right to her. No tears, no fuss, smiling. He even reached out for her. She is a gift to parents who have to hand over their kids to get put to sleep. VCU is lucky to have Ashley. Thank you so much for being so good with him and returning him back safely. I will ask for her again if we have to get anesthesia again in the future.
