Excellent! I found him to be extremely helpful and am very surprised/bewildered to read a few negative remarks from some other reviewers. It makes me wonder if we’re talking about the same person. I called him when I was in crisis and looking for help & advice with a member of my family who was suicidal. I was afraid/terrified and didn’t know what to do. His instructions to me were clear and his explanations made sense. I was visiting SF at the time & never actually saw him but spoke with him on the phone. (A SF physician referred me to him.) He was very helpful in describing to me what to look for in a therapist where I lived in order to cope with the situation I was dealing with. I already had a therapist but I didn’t find them helpful. I got a new therapist using Dr. Levin’s advice and the new therapist is much better for me than my old one. Tonight I was thinking of calling him. I wanted to say thank you for his significant help. So….. Thank you! Dr Levin!
