Caleb was the first dermatologist in 2 continents and 5 states that actually dared to help me off of my topical and systemic steroid routine, that consisted of clobetasol proprionate and prednisone, both of which have taken their tolls on my health over the years. He suggested Dupixent, helping weigh all the options, pros, cons, and pricing issues that I might experience along the way if we were to proceed. I was of course hesitant about trying yet another Rx, especially an expensive injectable, but he neither pressured me nor shamed me for my hesitance. He gave me a printout of the research as well as forms for saving money and navigating insurance, & said if I changed my mind, he would fill the Rx. A week later I said yes. Nearly a year now being on the medication, I can't even begin to express my gratitude for how it's gotten me off steroids (still have them for emergencies) and kept me off. NYC derms are awful with Dupixent writing, so I really miss Caleb's expertise.
