Carla helped me when no one else could I know that every person has felt desperation at one point in their life. It is a terrible feeling. I recently was at a low point regarding several health issues. Menopausal symptoms were taking over my life and I became frustrated, and unhappy. I have been a nurse for over twenty-two years in the maternal/child areas. I have always had good relationships with many great physicians and midwifes that I have worked with, but despite this, I felt vulnerable under their care. I felt I had no control over my own health care issues. Carla is unique from all the other healthcare providers that I have seen. She involved me in my own care by teaching me about my health needs, asking in-depth questions regarding my physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Carla was truly present and focused on me and nothing else during my appointment. It didn't end there! She followed up with me on several occasions to make sure I was ok!
