Ms Thompson was my PA at the VA many years ago. She was so thorough that she researched everything she did to be sure she was correct or checked with her supervising physician - she was a young and less-experienced PA at the time than she is now. I have had numerous PA's since who have prescribed/overprescribed medications that have done me harm (like kidney failure, severe hyponatremia, seizures) and all the while completely ignoring the results of labs they ordered. And completely ignoring s/s which were blatantly obvious. I never realized at the time (probably b/c of my age and my inexperience) what an excellent provider she was but I certainly do now.
