Cathy Breen NP is an incredible resource for pain patients, especially those interested in alternative options involving less medication. She transferred to the Neurology department so I’m heartbroken to lose her, but certain she will be a tremendous asset to neurology patients too. She’s up on her research, full of insights, shares links, articles, specific supplement dosages, pain management device info, and gives great referral options if needing specialized support beyond her care. I typically came away with several pages worth of notes from my 20 minute visits with her and learned so much I will take forward. I’m so grateful for the time she spent with me on somewhat complex topics like how my Ehler-Danlos hypermobility syndrome impacts my pain patterns and accounts for so much pain and the injury that I’ve had. She’s an awesome, empathic resource for ED sufferers. She truly listens and cuts right to the chase with all the practicalities. I’ll miss her greatly. Thank you, Cathy!
