I worked with her for 1.5 years before I moved. My strongest hesitancy about moving was that I would no longer be able to see Dr. Leibsohn. It is because of the work I did with her that I felt confident in my decision to move and pursue my goals. She was attentive to my concerns and sensitive in her approach. I felt safe opening up and comforted that she would be able to help guide me. She is experienced and knowledgable in many approaches that there was never a topic I brought to therapy that I did not feel confident we would be able to work through. She encouraged me to believe in myself and my abilities. My favorite line she often cited: 'If you beat yourself up and you still succeed, you succeeded in spite of beating yourself up and not because of it.' I have had difficulty finding a therapist I have connected with as much as her since moving. All this to say that I would definitely recommend her as a therapist. She is the strongest and most effective therapist I have had to date.
