This is a throwback to some years ago, but I met with Christian after bouncing around from a couple of therapists that never clicked. It seemed pointless until my first appointment with him. His approach was so different than everyone else I had spoken with. He is easy to talk to too, but will also challenge you to improve and grow. It was difficult for me as I had extremely low self esteem, but he was patient and set realistic goals for me to achieve. It didn’t happen over night, but eventually I started to gain more confidence in myself. He helped me to develop the tools and skills to be able to take on challenges at the time as well as the future. He once told me the old phrase “give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life.” That is an apt description of my experience with Christian. He didn't just give me what I needed at the time. He gave me the ability to take care of myself.
