To say that she changed my life is an understatement. She truly listens to understand and empathize. I've never felt judged, and I've always felt validated and important. She gets in the hole with you and doesn't look down at you. She does not try to 'fix' situations by saying, 'well, at least you have your health' or 'well, it could be worse'She obviously takes things seriously, but for me, someone who deals with depression, she injects humor into her sessions that help me to see that there is light and hope. She's genuine and real. Depression, for me, can feel like a deep pit that I fall into. No light. No obvious way out. Just heavy and suppressing darkness: despair. I can get stuck and lost down there, but she's shown me that I don't have to be alone down there or stay there. She's lit a light for me to carry and walked with me out of the valley every time I fall in.I highly recommend you give her a shot. Who knows? She might change your life too
