Dr. Christopher Gilmartin is a superb optometrist. He has a sterling education and decades of practical experience. He's thorough, methodical, professional. But what I find most valuable is his practical advice to help patients preserve their eyesight. He takes the time during an examination to explain to a patient what they're doing right, where they're running risks, and what they can do going forward to safeguard their vision. That's invaluable information, particularly for someone my age (67), who wants to keep their eyes working properly, and avoid painful and costly repairs.
