I worked with Dr. Tsai for several years. I've attempted to find a good-fit therapist a few times in my life and never found the right support until I found her. She taught me skills, including pausing to really *feel* my emotions in the body (and really accept them in this way), which have been life-changing for me and which I have been able to help pass along to others. Culturally, these emotional regulation skills were never taught to me. I met Dr. Tsai at a time of great confusion and grief in my life; she helped me gain clarity and confidence through her questions and responses. I felt listened to, cared about, and supported. I can't provide details about the treatment modality - I believe it was somewhat eclectic - but I knew that I was in the presence and care of a wise person, who always brought her mindful attention to the room. The office environment was always immaculate and she began the sessions on time.
