Dr. McDermott is a very compassionate person. She takes plenty of time with her patients. That may be one of her greatest drawbacks. Every time I have seen her, I usually have to wait at least an hour in the exam room. Sometimes I think she gets overbooked and her patients then have to suffer. Nevertheless, I still give her a 5 recommendation because of her bedside manner. She does her best to make you feel better and does a great job of treating dry eye.
