Darcy Gingerich is one of the finest therapists you could find. She specializes in substance abuse, trauma and LGBTQIA. She utilizes EMDR, Sensorimotor Therapy, DBT and a good ration of other modalities she has learned over her 30 years as a therapist. She is personable, has a good sense of humor, is empathic, compassionate, dedicated and safe. She works hard to understand her clients position so that she can work equally as hard with the client to effect change and to help decrease the symptomatology that is bothering the client. She typically works 9-6 Monday - Thursday out of the Anna Marsh Behavioral Care Clinic (the outpatient portion of the Brattleboro Retreat) and takes MOST insurances (not Anthem). If you’re lucky enough to grab a slot she has for new clients then you are one lucky person who will get the help you need as long as you’re willing to work at it, as is the norm for psychotherapy. Simply put she’s amazing and a gift to those who see her.
