Dr. Dugan is fantastic. I am consistently impressed with how she works with my family member with ASD. Not only does she seamlessly understand him and his unique way of speaking and thinking, but she also knows how to speak with him in a way HE will understand as well. When he is uncomfortable with a suggestion she accepts it and finds new ways for him to improve. She is great at listening, but also is careful not to enable unproductive thoughts and rather focuses on problem solving and teaching coping strategies. She also takes time outside of billable hours to communicate with him and create visual supports. She is patient, organized, dependable, structured and clear in delivery and practice. I cant recommend her enough, especially for the special needs community
