I have been a patient at Emerald Coast Cancer Center since 2008. My cancer returned in 2020 and I have been under the care of Deborah Hewitt. I couldn't be happier with dedication to her profession. She explains things in a manner I can understand and always takes her time at the appointments. I don't feel rushed at all and she goes over my blood work and tells me if it is low things to watch out for and call if needed. We took an extended trip for over two months. She gave me lab slips so I could get my regular blood work done and provided me her personal email address with instructions to email her when I got my blood work done, even though the results would go to the office, with me not having in house appointments, she went into my chart, reviewed my results and emailed me back with instructions to maintain my medicine schedule or reduce as needed. She puts the patient first and I would recommend her to anyone.
