I am a physician. Debbie has been my therapist since 2012 when she helped me and my young daughter cope with an abusive husband who is a 73 year old narcissist and a pathologic liar for nearly 9 years. He was hopeless. He would have taken my life if I stayed with him. He was physically and verbally abusive and escalated his abuse over a 20 year period, a most frightening man who should be behind bars, but freely works as a realtor. She made me walk through the dark tunnel that is divorce. Most of all helping with my daughter's needs during this time as she was manipulated and alienated by her father. Debbie has wisdom, calmness and commitment. I have many " nutty" therapists as patients, often my most challenging patients. Debbie is level headed, compassionate and smart, not " weird" like some other therapists. Divorce and custody are the toughest challenges of life. When my paid attorney would not bother to respond, Debbie would call, console and comfort me.
