I’m an acupuncture student who sought recommendations from a Professor. My Professor recommended Diane and so did a seasoned acupuncturist in Kingston, NY. I’m grateful to have been directed to her. Besides drawing on decades of practice experience, she is highly regarded in her field. During treatment, I’m the beneficiary of the best our profession has to offer. Diane is thorough, effective, and incredibly knowledgeable. As to her mannerism, she is compassionate and an engaging conversationalist. Diane practices Classical Five Element (5E) acupuncture. This style differentiates itself from other styles because it focuses on treating the root cause of problems, which involve addressing the energetics. It concerns itself with restoring and supporting the free flow of Qi. With that restored, the body heals itself.Customarily in 5E, a two hour intake appointment is conducted prior to treatment planning. Diane's practice aligns with this custom and she thoroughly explains this.
