Dr. Dmitry Foox has treated me for both chronic lower back pain and knee issues at PT@The Beach. He is specialized in Orthopaedics, very smart, knowledgeable, and has excellent bedside manners. Dr. Foox built various strengthening exercises into the PT sessions that were challenging but also fun and manageable. After a little more than 3 months of training, I no longer have the lower back pain that had bothered me since I was in my 20s! Yes I did have to stick to the daily home exercises—as one would expect—but they were straightforward enough to get started with. For my knee, in the first session, he was able to pinpoint how I incorrectly put more stress on the knee out of compensation (due to many injuries). And now, after 10+ years of no running, now I can start a race with my 4.5 year old anytime and make a tie (and he’s pretty fast!). It might not sound like much, but it means a lot to me and my kids. Would highly recommend Dr. Foox for anyone who needs orthopedic PT.
