I have manic depression and I HAD to go to a psychotherapist 30 years ago when I was diagnosed with my mental illness. I tried about fifty therapists and I was not given any kind of program to work on. It was just free association and me talking and the THERAPISTS PRETENDING TO WRITE MY LIFE WITH THIS ILLNESS DOWN. I don't know what they were doing but it wasn't helping me. If you seek therapy for specific problems, this is the therapist that will work with you and for you. He is #1 for me
