Dr. Aakash Kumar, Hospitalist evaluated my elderly mother when admitted to St. Rita’s. It was her 6th admission for low sodium: Hyponatremia. He investigated thoroughly, in collaboration with another hospitalist, to determine the cause . I highly recommend Dr. Kumar for his excellent diagnostic skills . He took the time to explain the findings and explain options going forward. My parents were disappointed that Dr. Kumar limits his practice to in-hospital patients as they had hoped to continue receiving his care after discharge.
