Patient Reviews
Jun 15, 2020
I was referred to Dr. Althaus on the same day I went to the ER with possible kidney stones. The scan showed a mass on my other kidney. I was sent to Dr. Althaus that same afternoon. From the moment I met him, I felt confident that I was in the right place. Throughout my appointments, surgery and followup, I was treated with respect, patience and Dr. Althaus listened to all my questions and concerns. I did a lot of research on my own and asked a plethora of questions each time I talked to him or the nurses. They were kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was flexible with phone calls and test results, as I was teaching and could not talk during the school day. We set a time that I would be available and he was punctual and informative. The whole experience from our first meeting, through surgery to remove my kidney, and follow up made me feel well cared for, comfortable with his advice, and grateful for my great results. I would highly recommend Dr. Althaus.
