I had a small procedure done this morning at Pres./St. Luke’s requiring general anesthesia, with Dr. Weingart as my anesthesiologist. He was very personable and thorough, and had a little time for some chit-chat and showed genuine interest in this patient, which probably brought my BP down by a couple of numbers, I’m thinking. In our discussion of career paths, he mentioned a noted colleague who had left flying fighters in the Navy to pursue his M.D, ... I did look him up, and I am in awe.
