I had to make a last minute appointment for my twins to have a physical to attend camp - We were scheduled to see Dr. Shaqra. We don't typically go to Allina, but they were able to accommodate a short notice visit. Nurse Ashley was wonderful, warm and welcoming - worked with the kids to get their height, weight and bp - Dr. Shaqra was just the same. Making sure that they both understood questions, and were functioning at their best. He showed genuine concern when one was having some anxiety about the exam. And ensured that if something should arise, we could reach out. He was thorough, personable and professional. I live a town away, but would schedule with him again if my primary was unavailable.
