On 2/14/2023, I w2as rushed to Mercy Hospital for a perforated colon. Dr Fedele ended up being the surgeon that performed a colonoscopy (Had to severe the large colon, block off the bottom part, and attached a coloscopy bag on the side of my stomach). The surgery went very well and the hard part was having to wear the bag until my next surgery which was on 6/1/2023 (to reconnect my colon).I have had many types of different surgeries (ie, shoulder replacements, back and Sacroiliitis surgeries, hernia, etc) combat wounds and so on over my 26 year military service and since retirement in 1991. I will have to say that when it comes to patient well being and a strong sense of ethics and knowledge, he seems to beat out all the rest. Easy to talk to and easy to understand.Will always try to have him (on my speed dial) if the situation should arise.
