Dr. Makhoul is the only doctor keeping my husband sane at this point. He is without a doubt the single most compassionate person we have encountered during his entire illness. I have never met someone like him. The good doctor is how I remember doctors from my childhood. Caring, concerned and going the extra mile to try to make the patient feel comfortable.
