3 months ago, I had surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis. I tried a few other treatments, including physical therapy and spinal injection procedures. NONE of these treatments alleviated the excruciating pain I had in my hips, thighs and legs. I had to start using a wheelchair to get around in my own home. Realizing that I needed to find another doctor or hospital who would take my condition seriously, I started doing extensive research by speaking with friends and colleagues who received exceptional treatment at MedStar Georgetown Univ. Hospital. I then chose Dr. Khanna to perform my spinal surgery and I must say this was the best decision. Dr. Khanna and his assistants, John V. and Deborah R. were all magnificent and showed much compassion. During my 5 day hospital stay after the surgery, the attending nurses were also caring and compassionate. I couldn't ask for a better hospital experience. Thank-you Dr. Khanna for giving me my life back. No more wheelchair, cane or pain.
