I am a healthy 71-year-old and in the last two years my back pain was steadily increasing, especially when I would sit. After multiple medical consults in the Tampa, FL area I was told surgery was not an option for me and ended up at a pain management clinic. I felt hopeless and destined to have pain and disability for the rest of my life. Then I found Dr. Daniels online and watched all the videos I could find as he discussed complex spine issues with patients and other spine surgeons. I was convinced he could help me. I sent my imaging records to Dr. Daniels in Providence, R.I. and soon had a call from him. I asked if I was a candidate for surgery and his response was, 'Why wouldn't we do surgery, I can fix you! In fact, this is a 'routine surgery' for us.' I was so comforted by his compassion and confidence. I am now 3 months post-surgery and have no back pain. Dr. Daniels and his team do not run from challenges, and I am so very grateful they did not run from me!
