I was referred to Dr. Tesson for hypersomnia and I can confidently say Dr. Tesson is the most respectful and validating physician I've met. After being dismissed by multiple doctors, he heard my initial consult, told me what he thought was going on, and scheduled the tests needed to confirm that suspicion that day. He takes the time to speak to his patients about their condition, where it comes from, and how he might go about treating it.He does not just say 'you need this medication, here is the script' - instead he takes the time to discuss the medication, a few medication options even, and why and how he would use them, what they would do, and asks how YOU feel about the plan and your thoughts on which medications fit your lifestyle and goals before proceeding. I truly feel so lucky to have been referred to a provider that actually listens to me and works with me as a team to tackle my condition. It gave me hope. I recommend him to everyone.
