Patient Reviews

When I realized I had a hernia I knew I had to find a surgeon. As a healthcare worker, I know Dr. Bassin. When I approached him about my hernia, he immediately went out of his way to get my appointment set up with his office. When he examined me he found I had two hernia's instead of one. No one looks forward to surgery. He explained the procedure, told me what to expect, and how my recovery would go. I know his reputation, but he made me feel more comfortable by knowing what to expect. After the procedure, the first week I was kind of sore, but I never required any pain medication, even over the counter, even though he prescribed some prior to leaving the hospital. At the follow up examination everything looked well, so he released me to go back to work after 4 weeks recovery. The first couple of days I had some tightness in my abdomen. By day 3 it was as if it never happened. I don't want to repeat it, but if I had to, I would ask him to do it again without hesitation.
