Dr Valentine approached my brother’s illness with compassion, competence born of years of experience and study, and kindness of spirit that seems to come simply from his character and personality. We feel heard and supported at a time when much of the information we hear is complex and frankly deeply disheartening. A better doctor couldn’t be had in such dire moments. MDACC is fortunate to have him to help with the care of those afflicted with cancers and related maladies.
