No one likes that shot in the back and this was my second time receiving one for knee surgery. I couldn't believe it. I was so pleasantly surprised at the brevity and limited pain from this procedure, I remarked about it immediately. Having received this procedure in the past, I had criteria for comparison. I hope I never have to have another one but if I do, I would readily request Dr. Akkerman.
