Dr. James was the anesthesiologist during my recent surgery at University of Iowa. He made me feel very comfortable about the surgical procedure which was to start soon. He gave me ample time to ask any questions. I had never had any major surgery and never had a general anesthetic so very nervous. He explained ahead of time what would be occurring in the O. R., alerted me to how many people would be present and said if I was getting nervous to tell him, and he would help me through it. Thankfully my surgery went very well. I highly recommend Dr. Alec James!
