I have seen 3 total psychiatrist in my lifetime and Dr. Acevedo was the first doctor to listen, respect and finally provide me with a proper diagnosis and treat my symptoms without judgement. Dr. Acevedo was also culturally competent. I have been misdiagnosed in the past and gaslighted by previous doctors that it’s been a nightmare. I’m happy that I am not seeing an expert that finally sees me with empathy and compassion. This is what all healthcare should be.
