Patient Reviews
Jan 29, 2021
Dr. Komar saw me in the hospital when I was admitted through the ER at Holmes due to a recurrence of Diverticulitis with a 4.2cm abscess. He educated me on the risks involved enough so that I was able to make the decision to stay on IV antibiotics until I was healed enough to go home prior to surgery. This allowed me time to heal enough so that I could have laparoscopic surgery and avoid having a colostomy bag, which he told me in the hospital I had a 50/50 chance of needing at the time due to the infection. None of the appointments I had in his office or the visits at my bedside in the hospital were rushed, Dr Komar always sat down and took the time to listen to me and answer any questions I had in a way that I could understand very well. Needless to say I was very happy with my experience and feel that I heeled very fast because of the excellent care I received. I would recommend Dr. Aleksander Komar to any of my friends and family.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
