Patient Reviews
Sep 29, 2024
My shoulder was damaged as a result of an accident 9 months before my surgery with Dr Rothfeld. I was terrified to go under the knife, and was told by many people who have had a similar operation that it was extremely painful. Prior to surgery, Dr Rothfeld explained in detail what I should expect and was very comforting. He took his time assuaging my fears and never pushed surgery- he just told me what I needed to know, answered endless questions, and gave me time to make up my own mind. He advised me that this arthroscopic surgery wouldn't be very painful, and of course I didn't believe him for a minute because of what I had heard, but I finally scheduled surgery.I have to admit that the experience was interesting, rather than frightening. Dr Rothfeld is a very skilled surgeon, and he was correct- I had very little pain! I took medication for only one day. I healed quickly, and after PT I am almost back to a completely healthy shoulder.Highly Reccomended. Thank you Dr Rotheld!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
