I first met with Dr. Zacharias to discuss prostate surgery. He was thorough, explained everything in easy to understand terms and answered all questions that my wife and I asked of him. After meeting with him, we knew he was the only doctor we wanted to perform the surgery. One thing he emphasized and actually explained to me was doing Kegel exercises. I did them religiously for the 6 weeks leading up to my surgery. On surgery day, his staff performed all the necessary details prior to the surgery with professionalism. After surgery, the pain was minimal, and I recovered nicely. After removal of my catheter I continued to do Kegel exercises. This is a MUST! I had zero side effects, which even Dr. Zacharias couldn’t believe when he called me to see how I was doing. I told him it was because of two things: my obsession with Kegels, and his masterful surgery. IMO, there is no one better than Dr. Zacharias and staff. No matter your needs, I give him my highest recommendation.
