I consider myself lucky to have found such a thorough, relatable, and HELPFUL psychiatrist. Due to past childhood trauma and being an alcoholic with long term recovery, I’ve seen several psychiatrists in the past and familiar with seeking mental health treatment. I can absolutely say that this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a psychiatrist. He established rapport quickly and his personable non judgmental approach allowed me to feel safe disclosing the reason for scheduling the visit.My faith in mental health providers that genuinely want their patients to live optimally without just asking a series of questions to “check a box”, where they spend 5 minutes and without listening to you, they make a diagnosis has been restored!Finally, I found a psychiatrist that I didn’t feel was just “guessing” and was actually taking my entire history into consideration. I feel relief that I’m in good hands and actually feel positive about continued treatment.
