I’ve worked for many doctors as an RN and he is by far the most caring doctor I have ever worked for. He takes time with each family to explain disease progression and gives them opportunities to ask questions. He knows each patient he cares for and as an RN that is not the norm. When other docs are scared to prescribe pain meds that provide adequate pain control, he is confident in his assessment and interventions. He was a pharmacist prior to becoming a doctor and his knowledge of meds is unmatched. He is the only doctor I wanted to care for my dad. Even during the beginning of Covid in 2020, he was responsive and continued compassionate care. I’m honestly confused by the one star review. It does not describe the person I worked for and have known for years. I’m taking a break from nursing but hope to work for Dr Peralta again.
