Patient Reviews

Dr. McLawhorn has a very nice bedside manner - he takes time to answer questions and is thorough in his responses. But that is not the reason to use him - use him because he is at the absolute top of the game in terms of total hip replacements (THR). I have had both hips replaced - both were done at HSS and both went well. I did not think it could get better than my first surgery BUT it did - Dr. Mclawhorn exceeded the great out come of that surgery. He uses robotics to assist so his work is very precise and accurate and the hardware in my hip is cutting edge. I had almost no pain and so far a very easy recovery. He operates out of Stamford - very convenient for me - and NYC. His care team is also excellent - responsive and friendly. It's very scary facing a surgery - relax and rest assured that you will be in excellent hands with Dr. Mclawhorn.
