Dr. Schneider may have saved my life. He'd been my PCP for about a year and I was really happy with him; he doesn't rush you and he really does seem to listen. One day, after having a "stomach ache" for about a week, I went to see him at the urging of my husband even though the pain had subsided (I love Dr. Schneider, but I'm still not crazy about going to the doctor). He immediately identified a potential issue, largely because he'd actually listened to me during past visits when I discussed parts of my lifestyle that could be risk factors, and sent me to the ER. About 12 hours later, I was in surgery resolving an issue that could have been deadly. I highly recommend Dr. Schneider, especially if you've been frustrated in the past with providers who treat you like something to check off their to-do list.
